On behalf of our client PEPCO, a Polish discount retail chain with over 4,000 stores and 31,000 employees across 19 European countries, known for offering affordable family fashion, home essentials, toys, and seasonal products, DEKRA is looking for:


HR Business Partner – Team Leader


JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Localize HR documentation, policies, and procedures to fit the local context;
    • Prepare and adapt training materials for new and existing employees;
      • Organize and coordinate onboarding and training sessions for store employees;
        • Support recruitment and hiring processes for central office team and store positions;
          • Ensure smooth communication and cooperation between HR and store management teams;
            • Responsible for coordinating with the outsourced payroll provider and delivering payroll documentation;
              • Supervising the Payroll Specialist;
                • Collecting and analyzing various data and insights to define people priorities;
                  • Developing and improving HR products, solutions and processes to deliver HR and overall company strategy;
                    • In cooperation with H&S Specialist and / or H&S external service provider, ensuring H&S compliance within the country;
                      • Owning local recruitment process and ensuring its proper flow from hiring need to hiring;
                        • Managing country Induction and development trainings, including leading them, organizing, planning & administering;
                          • Implementing local initiatives to improve employee life cycle in organization;
                            • Implementing and adapting global talent driven projects inside the country / business area;
                              • Implementing central as well as initiating and leading local employer branding activities;
                                • Resolving business cases related to disciplinary misconducts or other difficult cases;
                                  • Adapting, implementing & managing central performance management process;
                                    • Adapting and implementing HR policies and company guidelines;
                                      • With consultation of HR Administration & Payroll Team Leader and approval of Regional HR Manager representing Pepco for country authorities & inspections;
                                        • Supporting Remuneration Committee with necessary data for decision making;
                                          • Demonstrating Pepco values in own job.

                                            QUALIFICATIONS:


                                            • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law, or Human Resources Management;
                                              • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role;
                                                • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in recruitment, internal trainings, and preparation of payroll documentation in retail, production or hospitality industry;
                                                  • Solid knowledge of labor law;
                                                    • Good understanding of payroll processes and local payroll regulations;
                                                      • Advanced proficiency in English;
                                                        • Strong leadership skills;
                                                          • Good understanding of the retail industry;
                                                            • Ability to build influential, trust-based relationships;
                                                              • Awareness of the latest HR market trends.
