Procurement Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create Purchase Orders (POs) in Microsoft NAV;
• Create items in MS NAV and keep database update with new information;
• Extensive communication with supplier regarding new Pos;
• Ensure Order Confirmations are received according to PO;
• Follow up on placed POs to ensure delivery on time;
• Prepare RFQs for suppliers based on input from Project Management or Sales;
• Evaluate quotes based on internal requirements;
• Negotiate deliveries and pricing where required to meet budgets;
• Ensure forms are filled by suppliers to our satisfaction;
• Attend Kick-off meetings for projects and bids;
• Provide and coordinate all Supply Chain relevant information to bid team;
• Conduct other tasks as assigned by the project manager and/or line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year experience as purchaser;
• University (Bachelor’s) degree in Economics, Management, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent disciplines;
• Very strong written and oral technical English language;
• Ability to work independently and ability to juggle several tasks in a very busy environment;
• Good proficiency in using standard MS tools;
• IT equipment understanding is helpful.
