High School Principal
On behalf of our client, DEKRA is looking for:
- High School Principal
Job Description:
- Lead the implementation of the school’s philosophy, mission and strategic objectives;
- Oversee curriculum planning, development and innovation across the High School;
- Ensure effective assessment, evaluation and reporting practices;
- Manage student and staff scheduling to support high-quality learning outcomes;
- Promote and safeguard student wellbeing, pastoral care and inclusion;
- Lead, support and develop teaching and administrative staff;
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, professional growth and continuous improvement;
- Monitor and evaluate overall school performance, including leadership effectiveness;
- Drive innovation and strategic development across all areas of school life;
- Encourage student leadership, engagement and responsibility;
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider school community;
- Contribute actively to the wider leadership and long-term development of the school;
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Educational Leadership, Education or a related field is preferred;
- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level);
- Proven experience as a successful teacher and educational leader;
- Previous leadership experience within an international school environment is considered an advantage;
- Strong commitment to excellence in education and student-centered learning;
- Strong alignment with the mission, values and educational philosophy of an international school;
- Excellent leadership, people management and team development skills;
- Highly developed emotional intelligence and interpersonal abilities;
- Collaborative leadership style with strong focus on teamwork and communication;
- Innovative and forward-thinking approach to curriculum design and teaching;
- Strong analytical, reflective and strategic thinking skills;
- Effective problem-solving abilities and entrepreneurial mindset;
- Commitment to staff development and encouraging initiative;
- Strong understanding of student wellbeing, leadership and personal development;
- Understanding of the role of technology in enhancing teaching and learning;
