English Teacher
On behalf of our client, DEKRA is looking for:
- English Teacher
Job Description:
- Deliver engaging, challenging and student-centered English lessons in line with the school curriculum;
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and understanding of students’ developmental needs;
- Plan and implement differentiated instructions to meet diverse learning styles and abilities;
- Apply a variety of teaching strategies to actively engage students and encourage critical and higher-order thinking;
- Assess, monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback;
- Use assessment data to adapt teaching methods and support student achievement;
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment;
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, teaching materials and best practice sharing;
- Work closely with EAL teachers, learning support staff and other colleagues to ensure all students receive appropriate support;
- Contribute to the development and use of digital and virtual learning resources;
- Participate actively in the wider life of the school and contribute to school initiatives and activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, Education or another relevant field;
- Valid teaching qualification;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Previous experience teaching English at High School level;
- Experience in an international school environment will be considered an advantage;
- Familiarity with IB, AP, MYP and/or PYP programmes is considered an advantage;
- Strong IT skills and confidence in using digital learning tools and technologies;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational and classroom management abilities;
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural and international environment;
- Flexible, proactive and student-focused approach;
- High standards of professional and personal conduct;
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
