How many times have you asked yourself what success really is, and whether you are successful enough—both professionally and personally? There are many definitions of success, but the most accurate one is the one we define ourselves, based on our own objective and realistic criteria.
For some, success means completing their work tasks during the day. For others, it means having a second or even a third job and earning more. For someone else, success is having enough free time to dedicate to themselves, their loved ones, and the things they truly enjoy.
From this, we can conclude that success is defined differently by each individual, depending on our preferences and the circumstances that make us happy. So, do not worry if your definition of success differs from that of your colleague or friend—that is completely natural and healthy.
However, it is important to set goals and to know when you have achieved success. Do all of this in alignment with your own values and principles… and when you succeed—celebrate. Do something that will bring you additional happiness and satisfaction.
