Are women better workers than men? Which employees are more productive? These questions are often discussed, but there is no single, universal answer. In many cases, people’s abilities depend on their personal characteristics: education, experience, social skills, interests, and more.
In most fields, both women and men perform similarly. There are situations where women may stand out with greater empathy, communication skills, creativity, and similar traits, but this is highly individual and depends on various factors.
As we enter March—the month of women—these questions become more prominent and attract public attention. However, it is essential to ensure equal working conditions for both men and women. Viewing these issues through the lens of equality and continuous improvement of rights is the best foundation for the development of society in all segments.

In North Macedonia, women are more present in education, social protection and services, administration and human resources management, service industries, the creative sector, as well as non-profit and humanitarian work.
On the other hand, men are more represented in fields such as transport, logistics, construction, law, certain areas of technology, the military, sports, and others.
The JobLink by DEKRA team calls on all companies and employers to work toward equal rights for women and men. Equal valuation of work contributes to company growth, a better working environment, and added value that differentiates organizations from their competition.
During the month of women, give additional recognition and respect to the work of women. Gender equality is an issue that requires continuous and everyday attention.
