Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an area increasingly addressed by companies and corporations. Larger organizations often have annual CSR plans that include a series of activities scheduled throughout the year, aimed at contributing positively to the community.
Activities in the field of social responsibility provide a tangible contribution to the environment—nature, healthcare, social issues, sports, culture, and more.
However, if in the past activities such as planting trees or cycling to work were considered meaningful CSR actions, today they are increasingly seen as part of companies’ regular operations.
Therefore, PR is important for companies, but they should be particularly careful when publishing PR content (announcements, photos, videos) about their socially responsible activities. Such content should be relevant, specific, and meaningful.
During this period, many companies donate holiday gift packages to socially vulnerable groups of children and similar causes. However, it is very important not to misuse these activities for superficial or cheap PR promotion.
That is why it is beneficial for companies to continuously contribute to the community and to plan their activities strategically. This means staying relevant while also aligning CSR activities with the context and the core business of the company.
The JobLink by DEKRA team encourages all companies in 2025 to be even more socially responsible and to genuinely support those who need it the most.
